TAYLOR HANDTE PHOTOGRAPHY

Hi! I'm Taylor! I am the owner, creator and lead photographer at Taylor Handte Photography.  I have almost 11 years experience behind the camera, to say that photography is my passion would almost be an understatement. It is a massive part of my life that I do not take for granted. My favorite part about it all is memory preserving, you will never have this day, time or season back again and it is my job to capture it for you. I have always had a really deep sense of moments and take so much pride in capturing those for you. I think that is why I am so drawn to the wedding world there are moments happening around every corner, that may only be seen by me but are cherished for a lifetime.

As far back as I can remember I have been taking photos of and for people and this hobby really flourished my senior year of high school after I had my senior portraits taken, I remember the feeling of seeing myself and how beautiful I felt, maybe for the first time ever. I wanted others to have that feeling and instantly grabbed a camera and started taking photos of my friends. I haven't looked back since.

My faith is a huge part of my foundation. Psalm 139:14 is tattooed on my wrist "I praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and my south knoweth right well." There is beauty all around us and of course within us, capturing all of this beauty that God created is something I truly treasure. The beauty of being a senior with your whole life in front of you, the beauty of love between couples both old and young, the beauty in love surrounding a couple on their wedding day by those they love, beauty in a hug from a family member, beauty of capturing different life stages of families and the beauty of friendships formed between myself and my clients that will last for years to come.

Faith and photography are huge part of what make me, me.. but my family is a huge part of that as well. I am a wife and a mother to two incredible little girls, they are my absolute pride and joy. The best part of me.

If I am not taking photos, you can find me with my family or my animals, huge animal lover over here. I also love being with friends and laughing until my stomach hurts. I am a sucker for rom coms and if we are going out to dinner pasta or tacos please.
